Kangchup Area Tribal Women Society (KATWS) is a Non Govt. Organization based at Manipur with the Society Act. XXI of 1860 vide Registration No. 567 of 1965. We are engaged in working for Special Children with Multiple Disability i.e. Mental Retardation, Autism, Slow Learning, deaf and dumb, Borderline Functioning, Multiple Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy & Down syndrome etc.
KATWS was founded in the year 1992. The most important quality that is nurtured and cherished at KATWS is the independence of Special children and the integrity between our students and the society.
Our main achievement is the trust and faith that the parents bestowed on the school. It has taken us a long way and has given us the confidence to make giant leaps in a very short period.
